Born in Lisbon, Lina is an artist whose work is deeply influenced by the Avant-Garde movements of the early 20th century, with special emphasis on Cubism, Futurism and Suprematism. Through her oil paintings, she explores geometric motifs that capture the viewer's attention and imagination.
Lina's works stand out for their strong visual impact, resulting from the use of intense and vibrant colors, combined with the creation of contrasting textures. This unique combination provides a striking and immersive aesthetic experience.
In addition to her solo exhibitions, Lina de Castro Mota has actively participated in joint and collective exhibitions in several European cities, consolidating her presence in the contemporary art scene.
We invite everyone to visit the exhibition and be inspired by the works that reflect the rich heritage of Vanguarda art, while enjoying a new artistic perspective on the city of Benguela.
