Come and experience this itinerary through Old Benguela, starting at Largo da Peça (old shopping center). Along the route, discover its architectural beauties, each with its own specificities and history.

We continue through the emblematic Igreja do Pópulo, where the history spans over 400 years and takes us back to the beginnings of the City of São Filipe de Benguela. Along the route, we also find other important landmarks such as the Governor's Palace, the Companhia Comercial de Angola, the Correios de Angola and Largo do Coreto.

The route extends to the beautiful Praia Morena, an old colonial commercial area, where the historic Alfândega de Benguela is also located, one of the symbols of the city's commercial past.

Finally, enjoy the local gastronomy with a tasting rich in flavors, highlighting products from Benguela's marine fauna and delicacies from the Vale do Cavaco, providing an authentic experience for those who visit us.

The route continues along the impressive Viaduto da Ponte 4 de Abril, a striking infrastructure that connects landscapes and offers unique views over the region.

We continue towards Vila da Catumbela, a town with a strong historical and economic identity, marked by its connection to the river and the industrial development of the province.

We also passed by the old CIFAL beverage factory (Lobito), an emblematic space that is part of the region's industrial memory.

The route continues along Avenida da Independência to the tip of Restinga, where the sea and the city meet, providing a unique and engaging landscape.

To finish, enjoy a different experience with a drinks tasting at Fábrica de Aguardente (OWN) – Caxaramba, celebrating local flavors and traditions.

Starting in Benguela, the route heads towards the Municipality of Dombe Grande, providing a trip rich in history, culture and landscape.

Along the route, we visit this mystical commune, passing through several points of tourist and cultural interest that reveal the unique identity of the region.

The tourist tour of Dombe Grande lasts approximately 4 hours and offers a unique experience, marked by the contemplation of ruins and historical sites that testify to the past and development of the commune and the former Kingdom of Benguela.

In addition to the historical heritage, the intangible cultural wealth also stands out, with the presence of different ethnic-linguistic groups, full of mysticism and their own traditions.

Along the approximately 59 km route, visitors also have the opportunity to appreciate and enjoy the natural landscapes that make this experience truly memorable.

Caotinha is one of Angola's great postcards. It is a small cove with crystal clear and calm waters, surrounded by imposing rock formations that create a scene of rare beauty.

The Blue Bay needs no introduction. About 3 km long, it is considered the “mother” of Benguela’s beaches. Its warm, extremely calm and deep blue waters fully justify its name.

We then continue to Praia da Macaca, which offers a wilder and less intervened environment. Its waters are known for being invigorating and the slightly coarser sand gives it its own identity. From the top of its cliffs, it is possible to admire an absolutely exceptional coastal panorama.

Starting at Fortaleza, located on the top of a hill, with a strategic view over the bay and the river mouth, this is a striking historical point. It is a stone and lime structure that stands the test of time, testifying to the history of the region.

We then continue to Praia da Navala, a beach with clear waters and white sand, located close to the mouth. The landscape is transformed by the presence of rounded stones, creating a unique setting, often described as one of the “Seven Wonders” of Benguela. Surrounded by imposing cliffs, it offers an almost cinematic landscape.

Finally, we arrive at Foz, where the Balombo River ends its journey, meandering through a deep valley before meeting the Atlantic Ocean. The contrast between the fresh waters of the river and the salty waters of the sea creates a unique ecosystem of great natural beauty.
