The exhibition, lasting two days (14 to 15), has the motto "FAS 30 years building local development paths" and It has health, agriculture, justice, culture and sports services.
According to the provincial director of FAS - Institute for local development, Jasmim Ndatimana, the objective of the fair is to create a space interaction, search for solutions and exchange of services.
He explained that FAS, since its foundation (October 28, 1994) has worked in the field of community development, with the implementation of programs that alleviate situations of vulnerability and poverty.
"Each stand set up here represents not only a product, a service, but a story of hard work and passion (...), reaffirming the our commitment to vulnerable communities", he emphasized.
He made it known that activities are planned on the productive forum, arts, sport, namely the massification of chess in communities.
He added that, throughout this year, as part of the celebrations of the 30th anniversary of the FAS, several activities have been carried out, the relevance of which leads to the conclusion that they contribute greatly to the dynamism of communities in several aspects.
"The promotion of sport and culture, the empowerment of families, the promotion of a taste for science and the awarding of merit with Activities such as the Mathematics Olympiads have had a great impact on our communities", he stated.
He made it known that the fair was only possible thanks to the engagement of the Municipal Administration of Benguela with the delegations municipal areas of Health, Agriculture, Culture, Justice, as well as non-governmental organizations and private companies.
The deputy administrator of Benguela for the Technical area, Joaquim Luciano, congratulated the FAS on 30 years of existence and reiterated the unconditional support from the local government.
The person in charge highlighted that, over its 30 years, FAS stood out in the construction of school and hospital infrastructures and in the Kwenda project, which has been changing the lives of many families in the various communities in the province of Benguela.
