For her, the highlight of her career was welcoming the North American President, Joe Biden, during his visit to province of Benguela to see on site the potential of the Lobito Corridor. Deolinda Trindade revealed, however, that Bismas das Acácias is experiencing some difficulties when it comes to sustainability of some members, as they have their families and live only on their meager income, due to lack of employment.
“We are trying to come up with a strategy to find jobs for the dancers, knocking on doors for anyone who can help us.

The group, founded in 1984, is located in the city of Benguela and has 35 members. Uses as dance styles the lundongo, congo “hunter”, tchipuete, golden acacias and dance of cultivation.
