Benguela is one of the 18 provinces of Angola, located in the central region of the country. Its capital is the city and municipality of Benguela. The province is made up of the following municipalities: BaíaFarta, Balombo, Benguela, Bocoio, Caimbambo, Catumbela, Chongoroi, Cubal, Ganda and Lobito. It is limited to the north by the municipality of Catumbela, to the east by the municipalities of Bocoio and Caimbambo, to the south by the municipality of Baía Farta and to the west by the Atlantic Ocean.

It is known for having its beautiful beaches that brighten us up and allow us to appreciate the perfect marriage between its natural landscape and infrastructures that provoke unique nostalgic sensations for those who love and seek pleasure in leisure, rivers, monuments full of history and many other attractions that make those who visit it for the first time come back or even decide to stay here.

It is a land of opportunities, which is why it has long aroused the interest of investors after seeing the enormous potential that it hides in various areas from economy, education, culture, tourism , gastronomy and sport etc. It is a city with welcoming people capable of making anyone feel at home.

Its monuments, some taken by time and others still resisting, beautify the city, awakening those who love culture, not missing the opportunity to hear stories about the monumental cinema, the Sé Catedral Church, Nossa Senhora do Pópulo and the museum located on Praia Morena.

The combination of hotels, restaurants, nightclubs, bars and trailers spread across the city, the road movement of our taxis that combine with the acrobatic movements of cupapatas and the waddling of our zungueiras as well as the various fields created in different parts of the city, encouraging the practice of sport, allowing and giving access to both young and adult people from the outskirts and the city, making the tour interesting for those who decide to walk around the city.

Although we have some deficits in some sectors such as basic sanitation in some neighborhoods and some parts of the city, the city remains beautiful, welcoming and with a good part of the young population increasingly committed to the continued development of the city.
