The provincial governor of Benguela, Manuel Nunes Júnior, worked this Saturday in the municipality of Dombe Grande, where he assessed its potential for promoting future investments with national and international private operators.

According to ANGOP, Manuel Nunes Júnior visited Praia da Lua and the Elefante Bay project, two tourism developments under development with great potential to boost the local economy and diversify the province's tourism offering.
During the visit, the governor highlighted the strategic importance of Dombe Grande in the context of provincial and national tourism, highlighting its natural resources, cultural heritage and geographical location as competitive advantages for the sustainable development of the sector.

“We have here two kilometres of beach with calm waters and exceptional temperatures, rare conditions that offer a solid basis for the creation of a large-scale tourism project”, he stated.
The governor also said that, in conjunction with the province's Tourism and Hotel Association, a conceptual project will be drawn up to guide the development of tourism in that area.

“With this instrument, we will be able to mobilize national and international partners for structural investments that position Dombe Grande as a leading tourist destination,” he stressed.
The municipality of Dombe Grande borders the neighboring province of Namibe and has great agricultural, tourism and marine potential.
The bays of Macaca, Chamume, Chiome, Camukua, Cuio, Chituca, Nhime, Lua, Equimina, Elefantes, Venus, Pássaros, among others, dazzle visitors with their natural beauty and provide unforgettable moments.

This initiative is part of the efforts of the Provincial Government of Benguela to promote sustainable tourism growth, create jobs and improve the living conditions of local communities. CRB
