The 11th gastronomy festival is celebrated on the 19th to 20th of May 2021
The Benguela Gastronomy Festival is already a tradition of festivals in the city of red acacias and after the interregnum in 2020, the festival appears in 2021 with the format possible in times of Covid
Held in Praia Morena (Morena Beach), the festival features the participation of chefs who, for 2 days, will compete against each other in the categories of Dishes with Kitutes \typical local dishes and dish made with Cuca beer (sponsor of the event).
A jury follows the tests and will choose the winner.
It is an activity that has always been carried out in the month of May, alluding to the festive celebrations of the city of Benguela, which in turn celebrates its 404 years of elevation to city status.
The activity carried out will end on the morning of Friday, May 21st with the awards gala that will be held at Solar dos Leões.
